These trees, planted by KSU, the City of Manhattan, and the Kansas Forest Service, will provide shade and cleaner air for years to come.

Congratulations to Alana Wood (2026 Paul Thomas Intern of the Year) and Lemuel Dill (Honorable Mention) for earning national recognition from the American Floral Endowment! 👏

Alana completed her internship at Pure Beauty Farms in Miami, Florida, while Lemuel gained hands-on experience during a six-month internship with Neal Mast & Son Greenhouses in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We're proud of you both for representing K-State Horticulture and Natural Resources so well!

Our awesome HORT students were recognized at the annual cALEbration event at the Staley School of Leadership for growing the beautiful plant centerpieces. We had the opportunity to share about many applied learning experiences we have through our program.

You don’t have to be an artist to help us fill Bosco Plaza with murals this Saturday, May 2!

From 12-2 pm, students can enjoy free snacks, treats and refreshments while they chalk up Bosco! There will also be a raffle to win fun prizes. Tickets are $1 to enter!
