Our English Language Learners recently visited the to learn more about the history of the community they now call home. Before the trip, students completed an online scavenger hunt using historical documents and a community timeline, giving them the background they needed to recognize the people, places, and stories they explored at the museum.

This is learning put into action. Students build language skills while making meaningful connections to the community around them.
