WHAT DOES SAFETY MEAN TO YOU?
EH&S Kansas State University
At the College of Agriculture, K-State University, our number one priority is your safety. To accomplish this goal everyone must become a safety professional.
We want you to return home at the end of the day unharmed and ready to come back the next day.
The Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Office is responsible for developing and facilitating the delivery of health, safety and environmental services, and verifying the program's effectiveness in reducing risk. In the delivery of these services we draw upon the ideas of our workforce to make safety and environmental protection an integral part of our everyday activities.
The College of Agriculture is partnering with the Kansas Department of Labor to implement a comprehensive Health & Safety Management system that meets the SHAPE program criteria that will enhance the employer's ability to create a safe and healthy work enviroment.
Each employee within our organization plays a vital role in creating a successful environmental, health, and safety culture. Our success is directly dependent on everyone becoming an “EHS Professional” in their assigned area of expertise.
