🇧🇷It's with great pleasure that we announce the new BRASA logo for all Manhattan community.

In our new logo, we seek to honor our great Kansas State University and mix the Brazilian flag with the United States flag. The logo contains the central building of the university in the traditional purple color. In the background of the building, the sky with the beautiful Brazilian flag colors. The stars in the sky represent part of the Brazilian flag and also the traditional stars on the United States flag.

We are proud to be Brazilians around the world, we are proud of the USA - the country that welcomed us - and we are proud of being K-State! 💚❤️💜

Why are we here? Our association exists to:

1. Help new K-State members (as well as their family members) coming from Brazil to adjust to life on campus, as well as to life in Manhattan-KS;

2. Help K-State current and future members who speak Portuguese and who have difficulties with the English language;

3. Provide information and support for prospective K-State students, faculties, or staffs, coming from Brazil;

4. Provide information and support for K-State members in Brazilian-related issues;

5. Foster academic, professional, and cultural interactions between K-State and Brazilian institutions;

6. Expose the Brazilian culture to K-State community.
