Day 13 - We enjoyed a free Saturday in Pamplona today. Several of us learned how to play Pádel with Rosa - we’ll be going pro soon! Others strolled the parks and the casco antiguo, where many, MANY people were out celebrating one month until San Fermines!

Day 11 - We loved the 62-degree weather today! After Spanish class this morning we grabbed some Universidad de Navarra souvenirs and siesta-ed before our first Juevintxo. Our student leader Rosa took us to her favorite places and showed us how the Thursday night pintxo nightlife works!

Day 10 - We’re getting into a routine with our Spanish classes and had our first K-State class this afternoon, checking in and planning our project progress! With our free afternoon, we all did different things, including visiting a museum about Pamplona’s murallas/walls (project), documenting fancy arbustos/shrubs (project), trying to find Dr. Pepper, book shopping, residence hall gym time, and homework with coffee at a café.

Day 9 - Enjoyed a cool day for our second day of classes this morning, then a guided tour of Pamplona’s Cathedral this afternoon. We even climbed the bell tower - with the largest functioning bell in Spain at 12 tons!!! - for great views of the city.
