What does 2,500 years of art and architecture look like in one city?🏛️

In ART628, student’s explore Rome’s history from antiquity through the modern era, studying everything from the Colosseum and Pantheon to medieval basilicas and contemporary works.

The course also includes a one-week study to Rome over spring break, giving students the opportunity to experience these works and sites in person!

Also, join us for the Closing Reception of the Exhibition to celebrate the creativity and talent of this year’s scholarship recipients on Friday, September 25th, from 5-7pm!

Alyssa is a senior double-majoring in Art History and French, with a minor in Business and a Museum Studies Certificate! This is her third year as an ambassador and her favorite art class she has taken is Ceramics while she was studying abroad in France!!

Welcome to our new academic advisor for the Art Department, Elli Archer!

Elli is a K-State graduate for both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and has been an advisor for Arts & Sciences for over 8 years. While she didn’t major in it, she still loves painting and drawing, specifically drawing out ideas for her new tattoos!

She is currently the Advising Practices Administrator for the college, providing data, support, and trainings for all the college advisors and serving as an interim advisor wherever needed. You can find her in the main office, 111 Willard, on Thursdays, so drop in and say hello!!
