Teamwork makes the dream work! 🚓✨ The UFM ABLE Program wants to give a HUGE shoutout to the RCPD for coming out and spending time with our K–5 students as part of our ABLE Leadership curriculum! Our kids had a blast learning more about law enforcement, asking questions, and getting to talk with the people doing such important work in our community.

Through hands-on conversations and activities, our students are learning what it means to be a good citizen, a supportive teammate, and a great friend. From communication and cooperation to building confidence and helping others, these are important leadership skills that our students can carry with them into their schools and communities. Thank you, RCPD, for making learning so much fun and showing our young leaders just how much we can accomplish when we work together! 💙

Lights, sirens, and lots of learning! Our UFM ABLE youth had an amazing time visiting the Manhattan Fire Department at Fire Station Headquarters! The kids toured the station, checked out a fire truck, and even saw a hazardous waste truck up close. It was a fantastic opportunity for our K–5 students to learn more about the important work MCFD does in our community, ask questions, and see teamwork in action. We’re so grateful to the Manhattan Fire Department for welcoming our students and making this such a fun and memorable community-engaged experience. Thank you for having us, and we’re excited to come back soon!
