Congratulations goes out to FHCS freshman Azzie Foveaux who was able to play softball with Manhattan High this spring. Not only was she named "Newcomer of the Year" for the Centennial League but she also earned First-Team All League honors! Wow!

We look forward to hosting the Flint Hills Summer Fun Camp in June and July. This camp exists to provide a safe, inclusive, structured summer program where children of all abilities can learn, grow, build friendships, stay academically engaged, and experience a variety of learning opportunities by qualified teachers and through fun, community-based experiences.

The high school track finished their season at the KASC State meet at MidAmerica Nazarene in Kansas City Saturday. Medal winners include:

Girls 4x800m relay (Kayla Lorentzson, Kelsey Brent, Lilli Evans, Evy Ring) – 2nd place 13:15.97

Kiaria Choma – 1st in Shot (29’) and 1st in Disc (89’ 4”)

Zach McCaffrey – 1st in Shot (35’) and 1st in Disc (88’ 8”)

Max Skinner – 3rd in Shot (62’ 3.75”)

Summer break is officially 24 hours away. The "what's for breakfast" questions are coming. The "I'm bored" texts are loading. 😂

A last-day tradition for our junior high and senior high students is to meet at Tuttle Creek Lake. The upcoming seniors take some time to share a word of encouragement with the rest of the students.

Kindergarten’s last art project of the year was rooted vegetables in mixed media.

Last week of school is WILD and we get it. 🙃
