Have you ever heard of a CubeSat? 🛰️
CubeSats are a class of nanosatellites that offer a lower-cost option for schools and researchers to launch projects into space.
What began in 2024 as a “pie-in-the-sky” idea at Kansas State University has developed into two very feasible missions designed to detect crop health anomalies and space-verify new technologies.
Through the CubeSat project, K-State engineering students are gaining hands-on experience with satellite design, fabrication, research and eventually space launch. Read more about the project at https://bit.ly/4nP8eL4.
