We are off to a great start with our last Session of Serving up Science. Some interesting presentations yesterday and a tour of K-State Biosecurity Research Institute today.

We sent our April group back home today. We hope you enjoyed the week and can take some new information back home.

Yesterday we wrapped the day with some interesting beef presentations.

Today, we celebrated the birthday of one of our participants!

NxtGen Network attended the Urban School Food Alliance biannual member meeting at Los Angeles Unified School District where Cafe LA had the opportunity to host. Dr. Roberts is assisting a group who wishes to expand their online courses to include a certified food safety exam, that would compete with ServSafe.



As such, they are looking for food managers to provide feedback to their exam development team, to ensure that the exam topics cover all the relevant activities in safe food preparation.



We have prepared something called a Job Task Analysis which is meant to act as the blueprint for identifying the activities / tasks that should be covered in the exam, along with their importance and frequency of ex*****on.

If interested, you would be asked to complete an online survey of the Job Task Analysis, which serves as the blueprint for the food safety exam. The survey should take about an hour to complete. As a token of appreciation, you will be sent a $50 Amazon gift card, should you complete your survey within 2 weeks.
