Congratulations to Jack Sytsma on receiving the K-State Presidential Award!
In 2023, HandsOn Kansas State was proud to recognize Jack as our Outstanding Service Champion for his exceptional commitment to service and leadership. It’s inspiring to see his continued dedication being honored at this high level. Well deserved!

UPDATE: The ECKAN distribution in Ottawa has been cancelled this week.
We're back with another round of mobile food distributions this week! You can always count on our partners to treat you with kindness and make sure you have enough food to eat.
In celebration of Earth Day, HandsOn Kansas State invites you to our Community Clothing Swap! This event aims to connect the K-State and Manhattan community with accessible, cost-free clothing while promoting textile sustainability.
We are excited to extend an invitation to the Manhattan community to join us for this event on Saturday, April 20th from 10am-2pm at Bosco Plaza, K-State Student Union, 918 N MLK Jr. Dr., Manhattan, KS.
Swap: Swap your clothes at the event! Connect with neighbors and discover new treasures, all while embracing eco-conscious practices.
Impact: Textile production generates 42 million tons of plastic waste per year, making textiles the second-highest industrial sector. Your support gives fashion a new purpose by supporting sustainable initiatives. Let's swap, style, and sustain this Earth Day!
Any unclaimed items will be donated to the International Justice Mission Thrift Pop up that will take place later this month. Details about this event will be released soon!
We appreciate the partnerships that made this Community Clothing Swap possible! Thank you Kansas State Career Closet, International Justice Mission, Kansas State Nonprofit Leadership Studies, and Youth Service America
