How all of us feel. Missing Naka-Kon 😔

Hello, anime fans!

In compliance with K-State’s new COVID-19 policies, anime club meetings for Fall 2020 will be held online until further notice. We will continue to use our Discord to stream anime on Friday nights.

This Friday (August 21) at 6:30 P.M., we will have a movie night, and on Sunday (August 23) starting at 11 A.M., we will hold our film festival. These events will take place on our Discord streams. Stay tuned for our movie selection and film festival anime list! Updates will be posted on our page as well as our Discord server. We are looking forward to a semester full of exciting, new anime!

With the Union closing indefinitely we are forced to cancel club meetings until they reopen.

HOWEVER, we are setting up a Discord server so that we can still do club stuff on Fridays at our usual times!

Just giving Y'all a general rundown. We made a group chat for anime club members who are attending Naka in case of emergency. If you were not added to this group chat and want to be, dm us and we will get you added.

Officers Ben Adams is who will be picking up your passes (if you bought with us*). You will be able to pick up your pass from us or our hotel room. We will put information like the hotel room numbers, and officer phone numbers in the group chat.

We will be having club tomorrow, March 6th. We understand a few of you won't be able to attend but we still need to collect hotel dues for Naka. Remember its 65, to stay in the hotel with us.

So for tomorrow's Smash tourney we need a couple people with copies of the game to bring thier switches, and participants are welcome to bring thier own controllers if they want to use them.

Head's up guys and gals, there is no running water in the union today, or so we have been told.

Keep that in mind for tonight's meeting!

Update: The Sunday Film Festival will be held in the Wildcat Chamber, near the Radina's in the Student Union. If you keep walking past Radina's toward the side exit's, it will be on your left in room 101. The event will begin at 11 AM (NOT 10 AM as mentioned in the last post). Please make a comment about what you all plan to bring for the potluck so we hopefully can have some variety. Also, there will not be floor space in this room so come prepared to sit in a desk chair instead. Hope to see you all tomorrow!
