This week, Ph.D. student Garrett Friesen took the stage at the American Society of Animal Science Midwest Conference, competing against top Ph.D. students from across the region! His research, "Standardized Ileal Digestibility of Crude Protein and Amino Acids in Corn, White Sorghum, and Red Sorghum Fed to Growing Pigs," earned him an impressive 2nd place finish. 🐖

The K-State Agricultural Education agricultural and occupational and health class let our Feed Tech II class join their demonstration on hearing protection and confined space. We enjoyed learning about how to keep our employees safe!
