Need after school care? Boys and Girls Club after-school program at Bluemont will continue to be supported through the 21st Century Community Learning Center grants making BGC available to families at NO COST!

Meals will be free this year for all Bluemont students. Please be sure to fill out the home economic survey when registering online even if you think you won’t qualify for reduced student fees. Please register online by July 29. You can come to MHS on Friday, July 24 8-5 to get assistance to register online, pay fees, speak with nurses or if qualified-pick up school supplies. The secretaries will be in office On Tuesday if you have questions.
Once again for school year 2026/27 breakfast and lunch will be free for all students attending the following elementary schools: USD 383: Bluemont Elementary , USD 383: Lee Elementary School, Northview Elementary School USD 383: Ogden Elementary USD 383: Woodrow Wilson Elementary. No free/reduced meal application is needed however if families wish to receive reduced fees they will need to be sure to fill out the household income form during registration.
The free meals at the above listed schools are made possible through qualification as a Community Eligible Program School (CEP).

Summer Meals for July 6-10th
Breakfast 7:45-8:30am, lunch 11-12:30pm free for ages 1-18 at the following locations: Bluemont, Frank Bergman, Northview, Ogden, Theodore Roosevelt and the High School. Adult meal prices are $3.00 for breakfast and $5.75 for lunch
Monday July 13- Chicken nuggets, corn, fresh veggies, fruit and milk
Tuesday July 14- Pepperoni Pizza, broccoli, fresh veggies, fruit and milk
Wednesday July 15- Nachos, beans, veggies, fruit,juice and milk
Thursday July 16- Corndog, potato smiles, fresh veggies, juice and milk
Friday July 17- Pancakes and Sausage, sweet potatotes, yogurt, fresh veggies, fruit and milk.

Summer Reading starts soon! Stop by any of the open school libraries Monday - Friday, June 8-26 and read away!
Any student that meets their reading goal and turns in their reading log can earn a free book to take home!
An adult is encouraged to attend with their students. You can come by any time during the hours they are open! Be sure to stop by the cafeteria for free breakfast and lunch for kids 1-18 at the same locations!
