Biochemistry alumna Sujata Chaudhari (Ph.D. 2011 with Professor Muthukrishnan) visited the department and gave a talk on her new research on chitin metabolism in ticks. Dr. Chaudhari is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
