Happy fun Friday from our little apple crew!
We used a projector with translucent toys which enhances visual tracking, sparks creative storytelling, and teaches basic physics concepts. It turned our ordinary play into an engaging, multi-sensory learning experience!
We also had our special guest who comes out and does story time once a month and read "summer is here" and then we did a fun ice cream coloring! And as always it wouldn't be fun friday without donuts lol 🍎🍩

Nothing like some packaging bubble wrap to entertain the littles 🫧
New play schema unlocked in the daycare! The 3 key schemas here are
1- Spatial Schema: which involves understanding how objects fit in spaces. They learn about position, depth, and orientation (up, down, under)
2-Enclosing Schema: This is a drive to put things inside containers, cover them, or hide them. Crawling under the table creates a private fort or enclosed play space.
3-Schema of Accommodation: When a child learns to build upside down, they must change their existing ideas about gravity. They adapt their brain's "files" to fit this new challenge.
Enclosed play spaces also make alot of kids feel more safe and secure within their play 🍎
(Also ignore my temporary window unit, our air is being worked on)
