What are some of staff up to this summer?
Rachel Shivers, ESOL/Sheltered Math and Dika Sanders, ESOL, took part in the Summer PD Institute to work on refining their teaching practices informed by the latest research on the science of learning.
I love that our teachers (and all teachers) continue to find ways to help students learn to the best of their abilities and be successful!

EMS Summer Volleyball Camp will be July 7 - July 10 from 8:30am to 10:30am. Open to all incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The cost is $40 paid by cash or check. The payment can be brought to the office (please call before you come).

What are some of our staff up to this summer?
Mr. Mosier and Mr. Smallwood spending their time coaching young minds at the game of golf. Any excuse to spend the day at the golf course.

Here is 7th grader Gabriel Watkins as Michael Jackson! So fun and the kids were so excited, it’s hard to hear the song, “Billy Jean”!

A little late but here a few pictures from our talent show on the last day of school. It was a huge success! So proud of the kids who performed and the kids in the audience. They were so supportive of their classmates! Great job, Eagles! 🦅 💚

We honored our 6th and 7th Grade Principal’s Principles Award winners today during our talent show and tug of war competitions. We are very proud of these students!

It was a fun night celebrating our 8th graders and wishing them well next school year! We gave out certificates and honored a few students with special awards.
