🇮🇹 FASH 498: Italian Fashion just wrapped the KSU in Italy Summer Program. We lived and learned in Orvieto, with trips that took us to Milan and Florence. Luxury heritage, craft tradition, and contemporary industry, all within reach.
The leather workshop at Federico Baida was an incredible highlight! Students sat at the workbench, chose their leather and colors, and made journal covers by hand.
Grateful for every maker, guest speaker, and institution that opened their doors to us this summer.

A special congratulations to our very own Dr. Kelsie Doty for receiving the Myers-Alford Teaching Award this year. The purpose of this fund is to honor the memory of the Alford and Myers families and to provide teaching awards in the College of Health and Human Sciences. Recipients are recognized for their outstanding commitment to the personal and professional growth and education of their students. Dr. Doty was one of three to receive this award from the college, representing the School of Consumer Sciences. We are so proud of Dr. Doty and so lucky to have her in our department!
