Jamboree Drop-In Daycare

Sitting here at the place I have worked from the day we opened the doors to closing it down and reflecting on it all. There has been so many triumphs, growth, transformations, and wisdom that has emerged in these almost 8 years. Saying goodbye has been the hardest and roughest decision that has brought me to tears many times. I have met some great families and children over the years and getting to watch all the kids grow up has made my heart so happy. I want to thank all the families that have supported us and let us get to be a part of their children lives. I will miss all their smiley faces, silly sayings, warm hugs, and their excitement to come hang out at daycare.

Dear Jamboree Daycare Parents,

I hope this message finds you well. It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to inform you of a significant change regarding Jamboree Drop-in Daycare. After much contemplation and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to close Jamboree Drop-in Daycare permanently, effective September 1st.

Some of reasons behind the closure is the deterioration of the conditions of our facility and the lack of staff.

Over the years, it has been an immense privilege to care for your children and be a part of their early learning journey. Watching them grow and develop has brought me countless moments of joy and fulfillment. Your trust in us to nurture and guide your children during these formative years has been deeply appreciated.

This decision was not made lightly, and I understand the impact it may have on your family. Please rest assured that I am committed to supporting you during this transition. Over the next few weeks, I will be available to discuss any concerns you may have, as well as to offer recommendations for alternative childcare options in our community.

I am grateful for the wonderful memories we have created together and the strong sense of community we have built. Thank you for your understanding, support, and kindness throughout the years.
