Students have chosen math at K-State for a number of reasons, including having developed an interest in mathematics; or because of the quality of education at K-State, many of our faculty came from prestigious universities; and for our actuary track, alumni have said the K-State actuary math track is very strong; others said we did a good job of mentoring and helping them discover their potential, while still others saw our interactive flowcharts and how easy it was to complete dual degrees in engineering, business, and agriculture, and double majors in the sciences, humanities and arts, and some did a cost comparison and found out K-State is a good buy, saving both time and money.
