Continuation funds are a rapidly growing area in private equity, in which an investing firm sells an asset from an existing fund to its next fund

This essentially allows PE firms to continue their ownership of a company past the life of a fund

This might seem antithetical to investing, but they're a very, very important part of the modern private equity model

Here’s the networking log I use whenever I need to do cold emails. Link in bio/story 😁. Simple is generally better and Google Sheets tends to be better than Excel because of its mobile compatibility. You need to be tenacious; always follow up and expect a response rate below 20%. I reached out to 400 people and did dozens of calls to get my sophomore internship 🥲

We believe that the founder, Santa Claus, has not optimally explored all profit streams and is better suited in a COO / operator role. We recommend pursuing a controlling takeover to a) monetize the proprietary Naughty or Nice lists, which accurately tracks consumer behavior / preferences b) begin charging a subscription model and c) explore an exclusive distribution partnership with Disney.
