Who relates?

No one prepares you for this part of parenting.

Not the sleepless nights. Not the mental load. Not making 437 tiny decisions before breakfast. Not worrying about everyone else while somehow forgetting to drink your own coffee before it goes cold.

Being a mom isn’t “just” raising kids. You’re the chef, nurse, chauffeur, teacher, referee, therapist, event planner, and the one who somehow remembers where everyone’s favorite stuffed animal disappeared to.

If today feels exhausting, you’re not doing it wrong. You’re doing one of the hardest and most important jobs there is.

So here’s your reminder: you don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep showing up. And somehow… you always do.

To every mom reading this: we see you. And you’re doing better than you think. ❤️

More 1 thing parenting keeps teaching me:

Children repeat what they hear.
Not immediately.
But eventually.

You will hear the words you use today come out of their mouths tomorrow.

That’s why I try to notice small wins.

“Thank you for helping.”
“I saw that.”
“Good thinking.”

Sounds to be little words, yet they travel.

Hello again, friends.
It’s been a little while since I shared something here.

But parenting has a funny way of giving you reminders when you least expect it.
Recently I heard my daughter encouraging her school mate with the same words I often say to herr.

Surely, children carry our words further than we think.

So here’s a small parenting habit worth keeping; notice the good, say the good and celebrate it.

Praise doesn’t just build confidence, but
it becomes the voice they use with others.
