Steam is short for science, technology, engineering, art, and math!

These steam activities are for hands-on learning, and minimum observational time.

Children learn best when actively engaged.

We will have openings for our toddler room ages (12 months and walking to year 2.5) AND more pre-k spots available as move ups happen come late Fall 2026/Winter 2027!

Starting our day off with some Zoophonic Flash cards. We do flash cards in many different ways! Some with no pictures so the children get used to the letters and not just the image shown.

As we take a transition break these students are reviewing the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they make. This activity helps us see where the class is as a whole before we start individual assessments in the fall!

In the month of August we focus on evaluation and review!

Jewels Girls Club is free to all girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade! Join us the 2nd Monday of every month (September through May) from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Monthly meetings include ministry time, learning a new life skill, snacks, games and more!
