School of the Blessed Sacrament

This week, our 7th and 8th grade students wrapped gifts as part of the Forestdale Secret Santa Program. Through the incredible generosity of our school community, SBS was able to sponsor over 130 children this Christmas!

We had a great day at the Lower School Book Fair! If you did not make it today, it’s not too late! Please stop by tomorrow morning between 7:30 - 8:30 am for a special open shopping event with parents and caregivers! You can also shop online through June 10th, with a portion of all proceeds going to support SBS! 📚

On Friday, May 16th, our 7th and 8th grade students participated in Career Day and had the opportunity to listen to a panel of current school parents working in a variety of professions. Special thanks to Mr. Munsey for coordinating this event and to our parent community for their willingness to always support our students.

Today, the 7th and 8th grade students attended a Memorial Mass for Pope Francis at St. Patrick’s Cathedral hosted by the Catholic School Region of Manhattan.

Let us continue to pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis who passed away on April 21st. We are grateful for his example and ministry to the Church.

Today, Upper School students led a special St. Joseph’s Day prayer service and honored the important role that Joseph plays in our Catholic faith. May St. Joseph continue to guide all of us at SBS!
