ππ Our Orange Owls have been busy exploring the wonderful world of insects! π From learning about creepy crawly creatures to discovering their unique characteristics, our Owls have been buzzing with excitement! πβ¨
π¬ Science and Discovery: By observing insects and their body parts, our Owls are learning to notice details, compare and sort, and ask βwhyβ and βhowβ questions. These are the building blocks of scientific thinking!
π¨ Creative Art Projects: Cutting, gluing, painting, and drawing strengthen the small muscles in little hands. These fine motor skills prepare our Owls for writing and help them express their ideas creatively.
π’ Counting Games: Counting legs, spots, and wings helps our Owls practice number recognition, one to one counting, and early math reasoning.
We also had a very special time celebrating Grandparents Day! π₯° Our Orange Owls loved spending time with their wonderful grandparents, and every activity was full of learning too:
πΏ Making Bracelets Together: Stringing beads builds hand and eye coordination, fine motor control, patterning, and color recognition.
π³ Outdoor Scavenger Hunt: Searching for items helps our Owls practice following directions, observation skills, problem solving, and teamwork while getting their bodies moving! π
β€οΈ Special Moments Together: Sharing time with grandparents supports social and emotional growth, strengthens family bonds, and helps children feel loved and secure.
It was such a joy to see the smiles, share special moments, and make sweet memories with some of our favorite people. π₯° Thank you to all the grandparents who joined us and made our day extra special! ππ
We love watching our little learners grow, explore, and create meaningful memories both in and out of the classroom! π¦π§‘
