I’ve heard it say that nothing will force you to look within yourself than having a child. A few years ago I was going through some personal struggles and it’s then that I started to do affirmations and it’s helped me so much. Since then I wanted to foster a growth mindset in my son and start doing them with him, and that’s when the idea of these cards came to life. I wanted Jack to have simple yet powerful affirmations that he could play with, look at and touch. I didn’t want them to be overwhelming and I knew that because he couldn’t read, yet, that I wanted the cards to tell a story using pictures that he could relate to. And then I wanted to share the cards with everyone! These cards empower a growth mindset within him and those that use them. Affirmations have made me a more confident person and they have helped foster a growth mindset in my son. These cards work, I see signs of Jacks positive mindset because of them, and I am so proud of them. I ❤️ them and this boy of mine, causing me to grow and learn every single day! He is my very best friend and my muse. Thanks for inspiring me and this creation my littlest love 💕.

For the longest time I wasn’t entirely sold on being a mother. Even when I was pregnant I put off finding out the s*x until I had him because I wasn’t sure if I could truly connect to a boy or a girl. I was terrified deep down of the journey to come. And then when Jack came, what everyone assured me of was true, it was love at first sight! And now I can’t imagine my life without my little songbird. Being his mom has brought so much love, light and pure happiness into my life and although I doubt the impact I will have on him throughout his life, I will never doubt the impact he has had on mine. I am so grateful that I have this opportunity to be a mom to this little guy! He continues to teach me everyday about what matters most. Being a mom is really the best thing ever. Positive affirmations are a powerful tool for children. They improve their well being, boost their self esteem and encourage creative thinking. We ❤️ affirmations!

Empower your children by focusing on process and describing their effort. Let them know they are on the right track! They will learn to trust the process of their own personal growth and be content and proud with where they are.

Life can be messy and hard. It’s important to remember though that each obstacle can present an opportunity. Some of the best things can come out of chaos. We just have to look and find the solutions to grow and learn: to be optimistic!

One way to nurture a healthy sense of confidence levels in our children is to help them adopt a mindset that will promote self- development. Our ability is not fixed, it can change and grow! So the next time you find yourself doubting in your abilities, find a way! I believe in affirmations, try them. They work!
