Juvenile garibaldis have some of the brightest and mesmerizing color in the world. It’s such treat to find them in the waters of California! Garibaldis are the California state fish, and protected. That means they are commonly found and easily spotted, the juveniles are harder to spot though. They are more shy and tend to hide under and behind rocks.
