Manhattan Academy

Manhattan Academy Manhattan Academy is a private school, grounded in the "Whole Child" philosophy. We offer programs So it is with children.

Though two trees might be planted side by side, they will still grow at different rates. It is for this reason that Manhattan Academy is committed to providing a program that answers the needs and interests of the individual child. The school is a place where independence, creativity, free choice and self assessment are encouraged. It is a community devoted to illuminating a child’s sense of importance and value, where uniqueness and self confidence can flourish – a place where individuality and differences are celebrated. Once students enter our doors, they embark on a world of discovery where they experience the joy of learning and have their imaginations ignited. They develop a reverence for education and are given the tools to begin their journey as educated, productive, successful citizens.

A little peak at this year’s Professional Development Conference for our Infant, Toddler and Primary communities! We spent the morning connecting in small teams and building our vision for our community. Our workshops for the rest of the day focused on sensory development, building resilience, classroom design, understanding behaviors and teaching practical life skills. We loved learning and growing together!
