As long as your district's schools are closed, tutoring sessions are half price!

Don't get bored during the imposed social isolation. What could be more fun than some extra Physics or Chemistry? This is a good opportunity to review material from earlier in the year, and put it in the context of what you are currently learning. Or, you could choose to move ahead to the next chapter so that you will feel on top of the material when you get back to school.

For AP Physics students, this might be a nice time to learn the material that IS on the Regents and SAT Subject tests, but IS NOT in the AP Physics 1 curriculum.

Happy Pi Day

This is big news to the science community. The SI unit for mass is the kilogram, which had been defined by a standard sample called "Le Grand K" that was housed under glass in Paris. The kg will now be defined by Plank's constant "die kleine h" and measured on an electromagnet scale.

Scientists take the massive decision to change the definition of the kilogram.
