We are so excited to celebrate Diana and her wonderful success at the New York Dancesport Challenge!
This competition marked Diana’s very first competition experience, and she rose to the occasion beautifully, earning an impressive 5th Place in her Bronze Rhythm Categories! 🥉✨
Just a few months ago, in December 2025, Diana attended her very first out-of-studio event at the New York Regional Competition. Since then, she has continued to work hard, challenge herself, and embrace every opportunity to grow as a dancer.
Her dedication and commitment to learning were on full display throughout the weekend, and we are incredibly proud of how confidently she stepped onto the competition floor.
A special congratulations also goes to her instructor, Dmytro, whose guidance, encouragement, and hard work helped prepare Diana for this exciting milestone. Together, their hard work truly shined on the dance floor! 💃🕺

We are beyond proud of our students and staff for their amazing performances at the New York Dancesport Challenge this past weekend!
The competition was filled with beautiful dancing, personal victories, unforgettable moments, and incredible team spirit. Watching our students step onto the dance floor with confidence, determination, and joy is what makes events like these so special.
We are excited to share a few highlights from the weekend:
⭐ Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Manhasset was recognized as the Number 6 Top Studio of the competition!
⭐ Our very own Dmytro was awarded 2nd Place Top Male Teacher!
⭐ Professional teachers Dmytro and Yuliya were honored as one of the featured professional couples invited to perform during the Gala Evening, showcasing their incredible talent and artistry on the dance floor.
Most importantly, we are so proud of every student who represented our studio. Whether it was your first competition or your fiftieth, your hard work, courage, and dedication were on full display throughout the weekend. Tomorrow marks the start of the New York Dancesport Challenge Inter-Regional Competition, and we couldn’t be more excited to cheer on our incredible students as they take the dance floor from June 4–6! 🏆💃🕺
We are proud to support our returning competitors:
Beth, Jeannette, Bill, Diana, Roberta, Nadia, Millie, and Mia as they continue their dance journeys and represent our studio with passion, dedication, and elegance.
A special welcome goes to our newest competitor, Craig, who will be making his competition debut alongside his teachers Marisa and Yuliya! We know this will be the first of many wonderful experiences on the competition floor.

For the first time, this exciting regional competition is being held right here on Long Island, and we couldn’t be more excited.
