85 HS artists were accepted into the show, and 300 people walked in through the doors to celebrate and view the exhibit!!

🚨if you’re a high school senior who is pursuing the arts after graduation, please be on the look out for our scholarship in the Spring.

Every year, three $1,000 scholarships are awarded.

Our 2-day workshop with Suzanne Sheran was purrrrfect 🐱
Our artists brought in photos of their pets (or favorite animal, since tigers can’t be pets 😂 ) to paint 🎨

We enjoyed watching the artists paint in layers to make their animals come to life.

Jeffrey Espinoza is a multidisciplinary artist from Long Island whose work explores themes of identity and human emotion. His passion for art sparked in elementary school and grew into a serious focus during high school, but was put on hold, as he believed a sustainable artistic career was out of reach. This hiatus ultimately confirmed that creating was an essential part of his identity, compelling him to return. With renewed purpose, he has spent the last four years building an artistic career. As a first-generation Latino who often felt caught between cultures, Jeffrey uses art as his essential language. This personal journey fuels his creative mission to craft meaningful art that cultivates empathy, love, and a deeper sense of community. Jeffrey views art not only as a career but as a practice in personal growth. He carries this spirit into his work as an educator dedicated to empowering others to find their own voice through visual storytelling.

“Techniques in Shading” with Kevin Yen ✏️

Today was Day 1 of Shading with the master sketcher, Kevin Yen.

In this class, you’ll learn to master light, shadow and value to add depth and realism to your drawings.
