Tender Years

Tender Years Tender Years is a Type III center licensed through the Department of Education. •We are class "A" licensed through the State Dept.

of Health and Hospitals.
•Provide childcare for ages 6 weeks thru 12 years.
•We maintain Better Teacher/Child Ratios than State requirements.
•Children remain with their own age group with the exception of early morning time and the last thirty minutes of the day.
•Courtyard exclusively for riding toys.
•Five grassy and shaded play yards filled with age appropriate equipment.
•In-door Playroom fo

r the one and two year olds.
•There is a member of management at the center from 8:00 AM-6:30 PM.
•There are viewing windows for each classroom in the main building.
•We maintain an open door policy. We purchase curriculum for ages 1 yr. - Pre-K.
•Daily Reports are sent home telling you about your child's day for infants and children ages 1 years thru 2 years old.
•We have a limited holiday schedule which generally follows normal business holidays.
•Children who attend full time receive 5 credit/sick days each school year.
•A Home Cooked Lunch (no packaged food) is served to all children every day.
•We provide three nutritious snacks each day.
•Transportation is provided for 4 Mandevilte Schools for before/after school children.
•We provide All-Day Care for Before/After School Care children during school holidays, for no additional fee.

Our crews are responding to more and more e-bike vs. vehicle crashes this summer and we want our community to be aware. Drivers are not seeing kids in time. And in most of these cases, it is preventable.

A driver at an intersection is looking for cars at 30 mph or pedestrians at 3 mph. They are not expecting an e-bike to come off a sidewalk into a crosswalk at 20 mph. Parents, please take a minute to go over the three rules with your kids. It is a quick conversation that could matter a lot.

We had lots of fun things happening around the center today! Our caterpillars finally transformed into beautiful butterflies and with no rain in sight, it was the perfect day to release them!! 🐛🦋
Our Pre-K class also enjoyed a fun egg drop activity. Everyone worked together to brainstorm ideas and problem-solve, deciding what materials they could use to help keep their egg from cracking when dropped. It was wonderful to see their creativity, teamwork,
and critical thinking skills in action!
