line loves playing violin for weddings and other special events! Madeline started taking violin lessons when she was six and started piano when she was seven. Part of her musical education included participating in the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra, which she was a member of for ten years before graduating high school. The youth orchestra was a significant influence on Madeline's desire to pursue music as a profession. Madeline went on to study violin with Amy Thiaville at Loyola University New Orleans (Class of 2015), where she received a Bachelor of Music in Orchestral Performance. During her time at Loyola, Madeline became the concertmaster of the Loyola String and Full Orchestra. Active on campus, she became a founding member of the New Orleans Volunteer Orchestra and led as concertmaster for three years. After graduating from Loyola, Madeline traveled to Ireland to pursue a Master's degree in ethnomusicology at the University of Limerick. While living abroad, Madeline took Irish fiddling lessons with renowned fiddler John Carty. Graduating with first-class honours, she returned home to Covington, LA, to open a private music studio.
