Support Oceti Sakowin Community Academy’s Family Empowerment Night: Turkey Dinner Bingo!
In the spirit of community care and mutual aid, we’re inviting our relatives, friends, and partners to help bring joy to families at Oceti Sakowin Community Academy (OSCA) by donating Turkey Dinner Bingo Baskets and other prizes for our upcoming Family Empowerment Night: Turkey Bingo on Thursday, November 20th from 5–7 PM.
🌾 About Oceti Sakowin Community Academy (OSCA):
Oceti Sakowin Community Academy was incubated at NDN Collective and is a direct result of NDN Collective’s Education Equity Campaign. The academy is housed on land provided by NDN Collective as part of their Waziyata Development, a space that uplifts Indigenous self-determination and community wellness.
As an Indigenous-led community school, OSCA serves 70 families, providing a place of learning where students are deeply rooted in their cultural identities and connected to their community. We envision a world where our students and all Indigenous youth experience a profound sense of belonging, engagement, and purpose, leading to strong academic outcomes, holistic wellness, and deep personal confidence.
