🍎 West River Head Start is Hiring: Classroom Support in Mandan, ND

We're looking for a Full-Time Classroom Support Person to join our team and help create a safe, welcoming, and fun learning environment for preschoolers!

Position Details:
✨ Begins August 12, 2026. Interviews will be held soon so apply today!
💲 Starting at $17/hour
🕒 Full-Time - 9-month position from mid-August to mid-May. If interested, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc.

🌼Assisting in the preschool classroom

Requirements:
☑️High school diploma or GED

☑️Experience working with children ages 3 to 5 is preferred.
☑️Adequate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Comfortable using online platforms.

Through the end of August, the Mini Gym will have OPEN GYM
Monday through Friday mornings from 9:00-11:00am and Monday through Thursday evenings from 4:00-6:00pm
Open Gym is a self monitored opportunity for your child (age 6 and under) to explore the Mini Gym.
Sign in at Copper Dog cafe/ $5 per child.

Check out the 2026-2027 West River Head Start calendar.

Our management team will be back in the office on August 10th and the rest of our staff will return on August 13th.

We have 2 start days. Enrolled families will be contacted in mid-August with their child's first day of school. Half of our students will start on August 25th and the other half on August 27th. All students will attend on August 28th.

We are looking forward to an amazing school year!
