Since 1984, Deer Hill Expeditions has guided wilderness adventure and cultural exchange community service experiences for young people in the American Southwest and Costa Rica. Deer Hill runs summer adventure camp programs that include backpacking, rock climbing, river rafting and working on community service projects with Native American families. Deer Hill also creates custom designed trips for

groups such as schools and organizations that combine those same elements of adventure, challenge, learning and fun.

Flowing from the high peaks of the San Juan Mountains to the Colorado River, the San Juan River winds through colorful canyons, quiet beaches, and some of the most spectacular scenery in the Southwest. Before the start of summer, we wrapped up another meaningful spring season at Deer Hill. We welcomed students from across the country for weeks of adventure, learning, and personal growth, while also expanding the number of schools and youth groups we served. It was encouraging to see new partnerships take root alongside the return of many longtime school partners. We're grateful for everyone who helped make this spring such a rewarding season for our students and community.
