The Class of 2026 is headed off to so many amazing colleges and universities this fall!

It's "Championship Weekend" for !

Led off by the success of athletes over the last week, who won their third straight DI state title followed by Sofia Koshy '26 and Annie Lin '29 taking the state doubles crown yesterday, plays for the DIII championship tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. and plays for the DII championship at 5:00 p.m.!

Meanwhile, rowers Helen Saunders' 26 and Logan Garin '27 are down in Florida at Youth Nationals, with their 2x Semifinal heat at 12:29 p.m. today and the 2x Final at 10:12 Sunday morning.

Good luck to all of our incredible athletes!

Make sure to get out to Delta Dental Stadium and Bill Ball Stadium, wear your Maroon and White, and cheer on your Derryfield Cougars!!!

Following the final day of classes last week, we had the opportunity to celebrate the Class of 2030 with the annual 8th Grade Send-Off held in The Matarese Commons.

We're excited to see these students return in August as 9th Graders!

Last week, as the culmination of their Independent Senior Projects, the Class of 2026 presented their projects to the DS community at ISPalooza in The Matarese Commons.

Whether it was learning a foreign language, hiking NH's 4,000 footers, taking a road trip to study family history and genealogy, shadowing doctors or other professionals, or writing and producing an EP in a professional recording studio, and so much more, this year's seniors truly raised the bar for the ISP Program at Derryfield.

Tomorrow, June 6, we will gather on campus to celebrate the Class of 2026 during our 59th Commencement. We are excited to share the livestream link to the ceremony, for all families, friends, and Derryfield community members who would like to join us from home. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the stream will go live shortly beforehand.

Last week the 6th Grade presented their second musical theater performance of the year: "The Big Bad Wolf"; thank you to Ms. Gatzoulis and the Theater Department for continuing this longtime rite of passage for our Middle Schoolers!

That's a wrap on the 2025-2026 school year!

Following today's final Community Meeting, each member of the Class of 2026 had their turn to ring the Lockwood Bell!

David Lockwood '15, after whose family the Lockwood Bell is named, joined the seniors this afternoon, helping to present them with their alumni hats and welcoming them into the Derryfield alumni family.
