1/2 ounce Recovery Coin Ring , sizes 10.5 and 10.25
History of the Serenity Prayer
The Serenity Prayer is commonly attributed to the American theologian Reinhold Niebuhr, who is believed to have written it in the early 1930s. Niebuhr was a prominent figure in the fields of theology and social ethics, and his work has had a lasting impact on Christian thought and practice. Although the exact origins of the prayer are somewhat murky, it is generally accepted that Niebuhr first used it in a sermon, and it was later included in a book of prayers published in 1943.

The prayer gained widespread popularity through its adoption by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and other twelve-step programs. In the context of AA, the Serenity Prayer serves as a foundational element, providing a framework for members to navigate the challenges of recovery. It was first introduced to AA in the early 1940s and quickly became an integral part of the group’s literature and meetings.

Silver Incuse Indian Coin Ring , size 11 US
It’s been a while since I had an order for one of these unique coins.
This beautiful 999 fine silver coin ring features the profile of a Native American chief in full headdress and shows the motto “Liberty” and the year “1929” on the outside ring band. The inside band of the coin ring shows detailed branch work, parts of the American Bald Eagle, the motto “In God We Trust” and motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” also with “Golden State Mint” (the bullion company that mints this silver round).

Something that is unique about this coin ring is the features of the ring are recessed (incuse) instead of raised like most coins. That particular design work leaves a place for the patina to set in the features themselves and cause the details of the coin ring to stand out in a very unique way. Even though this ring is dated 1929 the coin is currently being produced today.

This coins design is taken directly from one of the most famous coins in U.S. history; the Indian Head Half Eagle $5 Gold Piece.
These and More are available in my Etsy Shop just follow the link in my bio . Thanks
