North Coffee was so proud to host our cross country race today!
It was such a beautiful sight to see schools from across our county come together, cheer one another on, and celebrate the incredible accomplishment of completing such a challenging race.
We especially loved seeing the sportsmanship and encouragement shown by so many of the runners. We could not be prouder of the boys and girls for representing their schools and county so well!

Celebrating the People Who Make North Coffee Special!

This month, we had the opportunity to celebrate two very important groups of people who make a difference at North Coffee every single day: our paraprofessionals and our IT staff!

Our paraprofessionals are there to support, teach, comfort, and cheer on our students. They are such an important part of our Charger family, and we are so thankful for all they do!

Our IT team keeps us connected, solves problems, and helps our teachers and students have the tools they need to learn and succeed!

A special thank you to our Sunshine Committee and Partners in Education for helping make these celebrations happen!

We are grateful for all of you and the many ways you help make North Coffee a special place to learn and work!

Dolly Day at North Coffee! 💕

Our Chargers brought a little extra sparkle to school today as we celebrated Dolly Parton, her love of reading, and her belief in creating opportunities for children.

From Dolly-inspired outfits to smiles, creativity, and plenty of Fun Free Friday fun, our school was full of personality today!

A special thank-you to our teachers and staff for making days like this so much fun for our students!

What a way to end the week!

Celebrating Our 2026 Teachers & Para of the Year! 💙

Today, our staff had the opportunity to recognize three very special Chargers who make North Coffee Elementary a better place every single day.

Cindy Gilliam
Our beloved first grade teacher, Mrs. Gilliam loves her students like they are her own, and she loves her Charger family just as deeply. As she prepares to retire this year, we are especially grateful for the years of love, laughter, and learning she has given our school.

Jennifer Martin
Our fourth grade math teacher, Ms. Martin brings so much enthusiasm and joy to her classroom! Her excitement for learning, and especially for her students, is absolutely contagious.

Leonard Moore
Mr. Leonard may be our custodian, but to our students, he is so much more. He has a genuine love for our children, and they know it. As Leonard prepares to retire, we are so thankful for the love he has poured into our school.

These three were chosen by the people who work alongside them every day and we can't think of a more meaningful honor. Thank you for loving our kids and loving our school so well. We are incredibly proud of each of you! 💙

🎀Y’ALL… DOLLY DAY IS FRIDAY! 🎀

We’re keeping the fun going at North Coffee with a little Dolly-inspired fun!

Students are invited to dress Dolly-inspired for the day!

Think:
👖 Denim
👢 Boots
🎀 Big bows
🌸 Florals
✨ A little sparkle
💗 Pink
🎤 Country-inspired style
…and anything else that makes you think of Dolly!

No special outfit is needed and no shopping is required! We just want our Chargers to have a little fun and show their Dolly spirit.

And since we’re celebrating our Book Fair and the joy of reading, Dolly is the perfect inspiration! Dolly Parton has long championed children and literacy, helping inspire a love of books and reading for children everywhere.

We can’t wait to see what our boys and girls come up with!
