Homecoming Week has been full of Hawk pride and memorable moments across our schools! 🧡

Today started with our cheerleaders joining Lambert Elementary students for High Five Friday. Later, Hawks of all ages came together on Brown Field for an all-school pep rally, giving our younger Hawks a chance to connect with and cheer alongside our High School Hawks.

The celebration continued with our Homecoming parade.

Our Hawks are in action today and tomorrow:

➡️ Our football teams take on Iowa Falls tonight
➡️ Marching Band will compete at Linn-Mar tomorrow
➡️ Freshman volleyball will be at the Cedar Rapids Tournament
➡️ Varsity volleyball will hit the court at the Cedar Falls Tournament

Good luck, Hawks, and enjoy the rest of Homecoming Week! 🦅

Our kindergarten students were going for gold in the Nursery Rhyme Olympics! 🥇

To wrap up their latest CKLA domain, students rotated through classrooms and completed activities inspired by favorite nursery rhymes, including “Jack and Jill,” “Little Bo Peep,” “Jack Be Nimble,” and “Humpty Dumpty.”

It was a fun way to bring their learning to life and celebrate all they’ve accomplished! 📚

Our 2nd grade students are learning about agriculture through engaging classroom visits with Shelby from AG in the Classroom! 🌱

Students enjoy listening to agriculture-related books and putting their learning into action with a hands-on activity during each visit.
