The committee wanted to further explain how the memorial fund is now being used. In past years, the committee members have been able to choose a book at the Manchester Library to dedicate to a classmate that has passed on. The library no longer offers that as an option. The scholarship was brought up and it was unanimously decided that would be a great option for our community. We are hoping to have the funds to offer a $500 scholarship to a student in need at Coffee County Central High School for the next few years. We currently have the funds to be able to do that for two years, beginning with the Class of 2024. Thank you so much for your contributions. If you would like to contribute in the future, please contact any of the committee members.
