It was SO great welcoming both our returning and new students yesterday! 🦁📚
One of our favorite first-day traditions is welcoming students with a special skit featuring our teachers—and this year’s was a fun one!
The premise? Our art teacher, Mrs. Beatty, stopped by the library to “renew” her books. 📖 But instead of ordinary books, each teacher became a book on the shelf! As Mrs. Beatty “renewed” (or returned) each one, a funny script revealed a little something about that teacher and the subject they teach. 😂
It was a fun way to kick off a brand-new school year and remind our students that learning at Cornerstone is always filled with a little creativity, a lot of joy, and teachers who are willing to have some fun!
We're excited to see this year's theme, "Renewed," come to life throughout the year!
