I am reaching out on behalf of Community Connections as we begin planning for our 2027 marketing and community outreach efforts. Community Connections was founded with one primary purpose: to help individuals and families understand their healthcare options and connect them with coverage and resources that truly meet their needs. We have built our business around serving our community, educating our clients, and helping
them navigate Medicare, Medicaid, health insurance, prescription assistance, patient assistance programs, and other healthcare resources.
As we look toward 2027, we are preparing to expand our marketing and outreach efforts beyond Clay County into surrounding Eastern Kentucky communities.
This expansion has become increasingly important from both a client-care and business perspective. We are serving Clay and may other counties at the present time, but we feel the need to spend some time on other counties as well.
We believe our clients deserve to have their options explained objectively so they can make informed decisions based on their individual healthcare needs, including:
Their doctors and specialists
Hospital and healthcare-system participation
Prescription medications
Premiums and out-of-pocket costs
Benefits and supplemental services
Provider networks
Medicaid or Medicare Savings Program eligibility
Individual healthcare and financial circumstances
For this reason, our goal for 2027 is to build a broader, multi-carrier approach so that Community Connections can offer clients a greater variety of insurance options rather than being limited by the circumstances of one particular local healthcare system.
Our Goal
Our goal is not simply to increase sales.
We want to expand the Community Connections model of service into surrounding communities while giving consumers access to a broader selection of insurance options.
We believe an independent agency should be able to sit down with a client and say:
"Let's look at your doctors, your hospital, your medications, your financial situation, and your healthcare needs, and then determine which available option best fits you."
Community Connections has developed strong relationships within the communities we serve through
years of direct community involvement and client assistance. We intend to carry that same approach into the surrounding counties.
With the support of carrier partners, we believe we can expand educational outreach, increase consumer awareness, generate more appointments, and ultimately help more individuals make informed healthcare decisions.
