When given the opportunity to run for Coffee County School Board, David and I prayed. We felt like it was an opportunity to be used by God. Politics have never been something that I enjoy but when the topic revolves around children, it’s easy to feel passionate about it. Through the guidance of several good mentors like Thomas E. Ballard, Coffee County School Board, I have become more educated about the issues of our county and country regarding public education. I would have been a good board member who would lead with integrity, but the process was as far as I was meant to go. I want to thank the folks that choose me through this election to represent you. I want to thank my husband, David Petty who always has my back. Even though this election is over, my interest in our school system and ways to be involved is not. I will continue to strive for excellence in the work I do and pray for the leaders of our county. Thank you to all of you who helped me though this and maybe I’ll see you again in this arena down the road. ☺️

Our crew has made phone calls, knocked doors, sent texts, held meet and greets, and put out videos explaining my views and goals for the school board. We have done everything possible to connect with voters in Coffee County and now it’s up to you all!
