🎶 Congratulations to Our 2026 CHAMPS Scholarship Recipients! 🎶

Last night, CHAMPS was proud to award three scholarships to graduating seniors from the Central High School Music Department.

Each applicant was asked to reflect on what being part of the music department has meant to them. Their essays reminded us that music is about so much more than notes and performances—it is about finding a place to belong, building confidence, learning responsibility, and forming lifelong friendships.

Seeing the seniors perform in their final school concerts this week has been bittersweet. We've had the privilege of watching them grow over the years, from shy young students learning their instruments and finding their voices to confident musicians taking the stage and sharing their incredible talents with us all.

We are so fortunate to have such an amazing music program at Central. The dedication, hard work, and passion these students have shown have created memories that will last a lifetime.

As these remarkable seniors take their final bow, we wish them nothing but success and happiness in the next chapter of their journey. May the music continue to play, the songs continue to be sung, and may they always carry the lessons and friendships they found through music with them wherever they go. 🎶💚
