North End Montessori School is situated in the heart of the historic North End of Manchester and across the street from the Currier Museum of Art. North End Montessori encompasses an entire city block in the downtown area. Our facility offers amenities such as a large outdoor playground with water works, indoor gym, professional level stage and lighting, commercial kitchen for culinary lessons, raised garden beds and well-foliated grounds. Our teaching, philosophy, academic structure, and tools for learning are based on the traditional teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori. We offer Elementary, Kindergarten and Preschool Programming:

North End Montessori School is licensed under New Hampshire Department of Education and New Hampshire Bureau of Child Care Licensing. At NEMS, our teachers are appropriately trained in the Montessori method and continue to maintain their high quality credentials. Our faculty maintains their educational training with active individual membership(s) in educational organizations such as:

•The National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
