The Fulbright Program Advising Committee is thrilled to invite you to two exciting Fulbright Travel Grant-related programs at Saint Anselm College, happening on March 9 and 10! 💫

It will be a pleasure to welcome back Professor Nirmala Menon, a Visiting Fulbright Scholar from IIT-Indore, who’ll give a lecture at 1 p.m., Monday, March 9 in the Dana Center Room 1D. Menon is a former professor in the English Department here and it’ll be great to see her back on the Hilltop.

Menon’s talk will focus on emerging areas of research in “Digital Humanities” in India, looking at the term itself and why it’s imperative that the digital be harnessed, critiqued, deconstructed, and dissected to keep the Humanities at the center of the development, deployment and dissemination of technology.

Then on Tuesday, Menon will be a special guest at an exciting panel discussion and workshop about the Fulbright Experience from 2:30-4:30 p.m. in the LLC. She’ll be joined by panelists from the NH Fulbright Association, SAC Fulbright advising faculty, and current ETA Fulbright to Spain Diego Benites ’25, who will offer insight and talk about how the program has shaped his path after graduation.

Hope to see you there! The Fulbright Program matters because it connects artists and scholars across cultures to advance research and global understanding. Hearing from a Fulbright scholar gives college students a firsthand look at how ideas and cultural exchange can shape the world. 🌍🎓
