We will announce a number of upcoming events in the coming weeks, but the first across the finish line is out wonderful partnership with the Portsmouth Athenaeum to feature a conversation with Dr. Sarah Paine about the difference between a continental and maritime mindset.
Dr. Paine will lead a community conversation about how different countries approach the world and what that means for their worldview. Some want to build others up to increase trade and generate wealth, while the others want to destabilize and dominate their neighbors, leading to destructive wars. You can guess what builds a better world.
Space is limited and advanced registration is required. Visit https://wacnh.org/event-6757105 to secure your spot.
How did we get here? Why does the even care? Where does this all go?
These are the questions we dive into during this month's episode on - relations. Understanding the long and complex relationship is important as the Trump administration continues to ratchet up the pressure and talk of war continues.

"As they filtered into the room the first day, the students were individual teenagers looking like they weren’t sure what to expect. When they returned from lunch, already gathered into their team sub-groups, they came in discussing their positions and what their next arguments should be.
It’s that secret sauce on which WACNH Diplomacy Simulations thrive, that brings us back to the same schools to repeat the process with new classes of kids."
Check out the latest blog post from our new Events & Education Coordinator, Stephanie Seacord, reflecting on and their power to empower youth.
