Read this fascinating story about Hope Jensen's project for the Chapel Art Center. Hope and her professor, Matthew Gonzales, studied the ancient Egyptian shabti in the College's collection. Hope is a 2025 graduate who was a Classical Archaeology major with minors in English and Theology.

Professor Jesse Saywell’s new political drama, “Live Free or Die,” will be presented as a FREE staged reading on Wednesday, April 29th at 7:00 in the Koonz Theatre.
The play takes place in New Hampshire on the cusp of a crucial vote in the State Senate. The White House has suspended elections. The other five New England states have seceded. Should New Hampshire join them?

Please come to Session 3 of The Holbrook Hour to read and discuss a short story with Prof. Ann Holbrook. jJoin us on Tuesday, April 8th in the Geisel Library Periodical Room (first floor). This is the last Holbrook Hour before Ann's retirement. She would love to see former students! The story we are reading is V.S. Naipaul's "One out of Many," which you can find online as a pdf.

Meet Professor Ann Holbrook, Chair of the English Department at Saint A’s. 👋 Prof. Holbrook has been teaching here since 1994, sharing her passions for literature and feminist history with so many students. Perhaps you’ve even had her as a professor in a class like Conversatio! Sad news for us, but great news for her is that Prof. Holbrook is retiring at the end of this semester.

We’re honored to feature this talented and compassionate professor in our latest Everyday Anselmian video profile. Here’s your chance to get to know Prof. Holbrook better as she tells us about cherished campus memories, favorite ways to have fun (hint: she rocks out! 🎤🎸) and offers advice from her years of wisdom that every student should hear.

And as a bonus, you can visit this website for a special longer interview with Prof Holbrook — we just couldn’t get enough of all the amazing things she had to say! Plus, more profiles: www.anselm.edu/everyday-anselmian
