Walk to School Day was an absolute success! Thank you, Ann Arwin, Ruth VanBogelen and Five Healthy Towns as well as all our amazing vendors for your support to bring this event to our community!

We also want to thank Kerri Wolf and Cindy Hanewald for supporting Riverside students walking to school and Liz Caron, Brandi Bennett and Christine Bailey for jumping in to help with stations this morning. It was such an amazing time and we loved seeing everyone!

At Klager Elementary, we’re excited to celebrate this special week dedicated to nutritious and delicious school lunches! Join us as we dive into a week filled with fun activities, mouthwatering food tastings, and exciting prizes!

What’s Happening This Week?

Food Tastings: Students will have the opportunity to sample new menu items and vote for their favorites!

Fun Activities: Get ready for circus themed days, lunch trivia, coloring books, and activities that promote healthy eating and nutrition!

Prizes: Participate in our lunchtime challenges for a chance to win awesome prizes!

Today’s staff meeting was a whole new experience for Klager staff inside a portable planetarium! Our team dove into an immersive experience that truly takes learning to a whole new level! We explored ways to integrate the magic of the cosmos and the life cycle into our instruction, and we can't wait for our students to embark on this journey with us!

Through iLab and cross-curricular STEAM-based projects, our students will have the unique opportunity to learn in the planetarium, where science, art, and technology collide in the most exciting ways. From exploring the universe to understanding the science behind it, the possibilities are endless!

We’re always finding amazing opportunities for our students, and this collaboration with WISD opens up new horizons for innovative programming and future-focused instruction. We're grateful for their support, as it fuels our commitment to continuous growth and enhances the educational experiences we provide. Shoutout to Ellen Supers for training staff and sharing the fun of learning!
